The Wellbeing Survey is now in its fourth year and helps us better understand how people, the environment, and the local economy are doing in our community. This survey is part of the larger MRV Community Dashboard project, which aims to make local data more useful and easier to access. By asking residents directly about their experiences, the survey fills in gaps and adds new information to what we already know from traditional data. This creates a valuable resource for our community, offering insight into important topics like social connectedness, education and culture, and material wellbeing. These areas are key to our health as individuals and as a community, but they are often hard to measure with standard data sources.

You can take the 2026 survey here https://mrvpd.org/2026/04/29/take-the-mrv-community-wellbeing-survey/.  It runs from May 2 through June 12.
Reflecting on 2024’s survey, we had a significant turnout with 573 responses, capturing about 12% of our population across Warren, Waitsfield, and Fayston. This initial effort provided us with valuable baseline data, and now, we're setting our sights on increasing both the volume and diversity of responses. Achieving this goal is crucial to accurately gauge community wellbeing and, consequently, enhance our service to the MRV community. We're also keen to lower the barriers to participation in community and municipal engagements, hoping this survey provides an opportunity for broader inclusion. The survey will run May 2 - June 12.
