Dear Fellow MRV Rotarians,
June already? Time flies! It seems like last week I was writing my first ever President’s Letter and now I am writing my last.
As my term as president comes to a close, I want to take this opportunity to extend my heartfelt thanks to each of you for the support, energy, and fellowship you’ve shared over the past year.
It has truly been an honor to serve alongside such a committed and caring group of individuals. Over the past year, we’ve achieved so much together—deepening our community connections, supporting both local and global initiatives, and strengthening the foundation of the Mad River Valley Rotary Club. Whether you were lending a hand at events, diving into service projects, serving on the board or a committee or simply showing up with enthusiasm and goodwill, each of you contributed in meaningful ways to the success of this year.
As I pass the baton to Susan Klein, I’m filled with optimism. I know our club will continue to thrive under her leadership, and I look forward to staying involved as we grow into the next chapter. And I would be remiss if I did not add – our club is only as strong as it is engaged. Please consider joining a committee or signing up for a service project.
Please join us on June 18th for our Changeover Dinner at the Pitcher Inn.
Thank you again for trusting me with this role. It’s been a privilege I will always remember.
Many thanks,
Mike
