Dear Fellow MRV Rotarians,

As we look out at the snow-covered frozen landscapes, we see a world seemingly at rest. But beneath the frozen ground, nature is quietly preparing for spring—roots strengthening, seeds waiting for the warmth to burst into life, sap preparing to flow.  In many ways, our club mirrors this season. While folks may see stillness, we are actively laying the groundwork for the impact we’ll make in the months ahead.

Alongside our Grants Committee—always in motion—our teams have been actively preparing for the next wave of fundraisers, including Corporate Sponsorships, the 4th of July Parade, and yes, believe it or not, even The Duck Race! Scholarships, Education-Teacher -grants, District grants, and Student Exchange planning is also well underway. Behind the scenes, we’re strengthening our club by refining our three-year budget, reviewing bylaws, and streamlining administrative processes. Meanwhile, PR initiatives and community outreach efforts are taking shape to amplify our impact. Like the unseen roots beneath the frozen ground, these efforts may not always be visible, but they are essential to the growth and success of our club.

These important efforts require member involvement.  Please consider joining a committee to support our vision of member engagement and community betterment.

As we embrace this stretch of winter, let’s take pride in the work we’ve done and look forward to the new energy that spring will bring.

Stay tuned!  Warmer days - and exciting opportunities - are just ahead.

Many thanks,

Mike
