A MRV Rotary Holiday Toast from the Pres…
Here’s to the Rotarians gathered tonight,
To celebrate the holidays, cheery and bright.
Here’s to the Duck Race, the raffles, the fun,
To the prizes, the laughter, and all that we’ve done.
Here’s to the garden tours drawing a crowd,
the grants that we give make us all proud!
Here’s to the sponsors who stand by our side,
And the friends of the Valley whose dollars provide.
Here’s to the projects, both big and small,
And the folks who step up to answer the call.
Here’s to the pantry, the meals, the backpacks,
and here’s to the volunteers, that list never lacks.
Here’s to our motto, simple and true:
"It’s Service first – way before you!"
Here’s to being halfway through my presidents time
its your turn next Susan Klien
So lift your glass, this I must say:
It’s all about the friends we make along the way.
As I wrap this toast, and yes I must end it:
Don’t forget to sell another damn Raffle ticket!
Happy Holidays MRV Rotary
