MRV Rotary held our annual Changeover Dinner recently at American Flatbread - Lareau Farm.  For those of you who could not attend, here are the words from Mike Curtin, New President.

The Annual Changeover Dinner was a rousing success attended by many. In addition we were fortunate to have a few visiting guests. Sam Robinson of the Mad River Valley Planning District attended along with Thibault, a french exchange student from high school who was a beneficiary of the Rotary Exchange a few years back. Photos of the event follow.

The annual MRV Rotary Person of the Year event was held on May 15 at the Pitcher Inn. Joshua Schwartz Executive Director of the Mad River Planning District was feted but could not attend as he was on sabbatical with his family. Bob Ackland and Jared Cadwell stood in his stead. Photos from the event follow.

MRV Rotary is welcoming a few new members!  Typically Karen Winchell (thank you, Karen!) schedules them asap for their intro speech but we are all so busy these days and not wanting to delay the welcomes any longer, they have offered to provide me with brief bios. They are not skipping out on their "stand up routines" so stay tuned for their scheduled dates and in the meantime, when you see them around, let's all give them the MRV Rotary Welcome! New members:  Kira Bacon, Jeff Friedman, John Reynolds, Judy Bowen, Cynthia Hoare, Betsy Wilkinson.

What follows is a bio for new member, Kira Bacon. More to come.
