*Mission Accomplished*
Last June at the Changeover Dinner, I shared my goal of gaining 13 new members during my year as President and I am pleased to say we accomplished that. Not only did we accomplish the goal, our newest members are jumping in feet first, volunteering, showing up, and learning what it means to be a Rotarian.
At a recent breakfast meeting, our Assistant District Governor, Ron Guylas, remarked that our membership growth is the highest in the district that includes about 35 clubs and they are trying to figure out how we have done it.
I think it’s pretty straight forward - first, believe in our club and our mission. Second, invite someone to a meeting! Sometimes it’s as simple as a personal invitation. Ask Gordon, or Pete, or Al if it works! They have all successfully brought in new members.
Finally, when you pay your membership dues this month, please consider a donation to the Rotary International Foundation - even a donation as small as $25 helps!
Thank you all for your support, hard work and friendship during my year as President. I am really glad I said “yes”.
