Interact Bottle Drive
The annual Interact Bottle Drive has begun and a Spring Work Day is in the works! For more read on.
Please start saving your refundable bottles/cans. You can bring your bottles and cans to Rodney’s in Waterbury and let them know they are for the Harwood Interact Bottle Drive (there are competing entities also collecting bottles so it is important you specify who you are supporting). Alternatively, on Saturday February 18th, you can bring your bottles and cans to Hannon Home Center at the junction of Route 100 and Route 2 in Moretown/Waterbury as the kids will be there collecting. Any funds raised through the bottle drive will be donated to Planned Parenthood.
The rumor is that the Waterbury Rotary Club has agreed to match Interact’s donation dollar for dollar. Perhaps a bit of competition will encourage Mad River Valley Rotary to do the same? 😉
Spring Work Day
The club is starting to organize their spring work day/week. The students hire themselves out for a donation of your choosing. More to come on this event soon but you might want to be thinking of some projects that you have been postponing and that they can lend a hand on!
