We are the Mad River Valley Rotary Club with over 60 members. We are your neighbors, friends, and business acquaintances. We are young, old, women and men who love this Valley and who volunteer our time to make it an even better place to live. 

As a chapter of Rotary International, we aspire to make a difference right here in the Mad River Valley and beyond. Our commitment is to community service, building friendships, and developing leaders. Our international exchange program cultivates understanding beyond Vermont and is a life changing experience for those who participate.

Through fundraisers, raffles and community events we support local organizations and global projects providing a broad range of services, from assistance for those in need, to arts and culture.

Grants approved
The MRV Board approved the following grants at the recent March meeting:
 
$1,000 for Mosaic, Washington County's sexual violence prevention and response agency, for their presentation of the Vagina Monologues at the Valley Players. The play was presented as part of their education program.
 
$1,000 for Scrag Mountain Music to help with the costs of their March 9 concert in Warren.
 
$1,000 for the Mad River Chorale to support a combined performance concert with Harwood Union High School.
 
$3,600 for Mad River Valley Arts to cover the costs of salaries for summer camp instructors. This grant appeal will go to the membership for approval at the next meeting as it exceeds the Board limit of $3,000.
