Mad River Valley Rotary Duck Race
The MRV Rotary Duck Race is held on the Sunday of the Labor Day weekend. 2024 brings us TWO separate races with 12 winners. 100% of funds raised for both races go to the MRV Rotary Club charitable fund. For both races, you "adopt" a plastic duck. We'll send your numbered duck into the Mad River and let them run downstream for 100 yards or so. The good news is that all who have supported the event(s) will have the satisfaction of knowing they supported Rotary's work in the Valley and beyond.
HOW DO I ADOPT A DUCK?
You can adopt a duck in person in front of Mehuron's Friday's from 3-5pm and on Saturday's from 9-1pm at the Waitsfield Farmer's Market. Adopt a duck anytime online to participate in the races by clicking here.
