Rotarians do more than write checks! Here's an overview of current "hands-on" projects we're working on in The Valley.

Neck of the Woods Refurbishment
Project Lead: Linda Levin
Neck of the Woods is a not-for-profit child care center in Waitsfield just getting off the ground. With big plans to expand its services to provide support for young families in several ways, MRV Rotary is helping them prepare their new facility with painting and light construction.

Camp Ta-Kum-Ta
Project Lead: Dave Koepele
Camp Ta-Kum-Ta in North Hero, VT provides challenging, extraordinary experiences in a safe and loving environment for children who have or have had cancer and their families. The MRV Rotary helps set-up and break-down camp facilities.

UCC Bottles and Cans
Project Lead: Susan Klein
The Waitsfield United Church of Christ raises funds to support individuals and families with short-term needs by collecting deposit-bearing bottles and cans. MRV Rotarians help transport the bottles and cans to the redemption center in Barre.
