Under cerulean skies with mid-summer temperatures in the 80's, the Mad River Valley Rotary Duck Race got off to an exciting start with all ducks jockeying for position to be the first across the line in this exciting event. Professional duck racing trainers from all over the globe provided a new twist to this annual event. Serena Fox, our newest Rotarian, deftly plucked the ducks from the water as they crossed the finish line.

The winning ducks belonged to:

1st place- Jared Cadwell $1000
2nd place- Harley Anano $500
3rd place- Lauren Frazee $250
4th place- Nancy Kearns $100
5th place- Mad River Valley Rotary $100
6th place- Doreen Simko $50
7th place- Lili Berman a roll of duck tape
